Educ8 has received funding through UHOVI (Universities Heads of the Valleys Institute) to deliver a management development programme for senior staff/carers, registered nurses and aspiring care managers...
The FULLY FUNDED 4-day programme is accredited by the University of Glamorgan and will provide an excellent foundation to a career in social care management, making it ideal for those aspiring to take the next step in their career. It is also a fantastic pre-cursor to the QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership in Health & Social Care qualification, providing much of the underpinning knowledge required for the full qualification. Candidates can progress to the QCF after completing the workshops. Workshop 1: Championing Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Workshop 2: Promoting Effective Communication in Social Care Workshop 3: Effective Partnership Working in Social Care Workshop 4: Managing Health & Safety in Social Care Through the completion of both workshops and assessments, the participants will achieve 5 university credits (at level 5) per workshop (20 credits in total). Extra support will be offered through the allocation of a personal tutor and a wide range of resources.
The programme can be delivered at one of our training centres (in Abercynon or Ystrad Mynach) or at your organisations own premises (minimum numbers apply).

To be eligible for this fully funded programme, individuals must either live or work in one of the following UHOVI approved areas: Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhondda Cynon Taf or Torfaen.
