    An evening for parents of children with disabilities, selfadvocates, and disability rights advocates

    June 12th, 2013 North Dartmouth Community Centre, 105 Highfield Park Drive 5:00 - Doors open, pizza provided 6:00-8:30 - Community Meeting Over this past decade family members have had little opportunity to dream and see possibilities come true for their sons and daughters. Join us for this solution-focused, interactive event to envision what is possible. Agenda will include: Viewing of the film "Norm" Panel presentation of self advocates and parent advocates Opportunities for group discussions Questions that will be addressed at this event: What is a "good life"? When we dream of a good life for our sons and daughters, what does it look like? Where do we go from here?
