Aims: -vocabulary:weather conditions, seasons, months; - to help Ss to know how to express feelings. -to help Ss predict what they are going to listen to and then to see whether their expectations are right. -to encourage Ss to communicate freely and spontaneously during the activities. Objectives:By the end of the lesson, the students will be able to: O1.listen for specific information O2.communicate their answers freely O3.practise the skills of scanning and reading for specific information O4.talk about the weather and the way it affects their feelings

T tells Ss to look at ex.4 on page 56.T names four Ss to read the A,B,C,D statements.Four Ss read the four statements and the whole class follow what is reading. T asks Ss to guess which words they are going to hear for each statement. Ss answer that the four words are rainy,windy,snowy and 2 sunny. T will write on the board the four main words for each statement.
