Vesna Bosjak has been a student teacher in my kindergarten class for ten weeks. Our school uses the co-teaching model, and she has demonstrated the ability to work successfully as part of a team. We have found that other kindergarten teachers have accepted her as a strong working member of our team and she has had a positive working relationship with each one of them, as well as with other staff members in the building. Vesna prepared and implemented lessons in Language Arts, Math, Science, Religion, and Social Studies. She aligned the lessons to the standards and prepared the lessons in a timely manner. During her student teaching experience Vesna was eager to receive feedback. She worked hard on improving her teaching techniques each day, reflecting on the feedback that we gave her and using that information to improve her practice. Vesna has a great rapport with the students she has worked with. The students were eager to greet her each day, and she loved learned about each of them. Vesna was always professionally dressed, articulate, and always ready with a smile and a kind word. I am confident that Ms. Bosnjak will positively contribute to any staff that she works with. She is confident, knowledgeable, and has the skills of a seasoned teacher. I believe that she will continue to grow and become an even more effective as a teacher with further opportunities.
