Manifest destiny is the expansion of the United States that was from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean. Manifest destiny occurred on the 1800 to 1875. The people who were involved in Manifest destiny was the president ,Andrew Jackson, the Native Americans and the pioneers. The regions that were affected by Manifest destiny were the Natives Americans homelands but the Americans wanted the Natives homelands so they pushed Natives to Oklahoma reservations and took over the Louisiana territory. Manifest destiny began when there was a discovery of gold found in the native land. Manifest destiny affected the United States positively because the United States expanded and they also gained technology. Manifest destiny affected the United States negatively because Native Americans lost land and were mistreated
