Endangered Species Presentation Rubric
Your presentation must include all of the following for full-credit. It can be presented through use of a powerpoint (slideshow) or on a poster board. Be as creative as possible. The objective is for you to really teach your fellow students about your species. Remember: YOU are the expert! Make sure to use valid resources when researching, and look at several resource pages or books to get a full picture.
PROJECTS MUST BE COMPLETED AND BROUGHT IN TO CLASS NO LATER THAN APRIL 8TH, REGARDLESS OF YOUR ASSIGNED PRESENTATION DATE!!! Category Species Name (common and scientific) Picture Description Provide both the common and scientific names of your species Have at least one picture of your species (more would be better) How many individuals are still surviving? Give some background on your species. What was its historical range? Give at least 3 interesting facts about your species Tell where species live and show on a map What threats is your species faced with? Why has it become endangered?
