Click preprocessor. Select Element types, choose add/edit/delete Next a window with heading element types opens up, choose add. Another window Library of element types opens up, choose solid, choose concret65. Click apply (Note: Apply and Ok are two different entities, if u press apply u will add a similar maetrial once again so click ok wen u are about to finish selecting everything) For e.g. assume u have selected link, spar 8 for main steel in the beams as first element, now select apply and select link, spar8 to add stirrup and then press ok. 6. Next select Real constants in the ANSYS Main menu.
