consumption shown in it.
2. Segregate the appliances used in your house under the heading of
15A and 5A current ratings and write in a tabular form.
3. Indian Government had signed a treaty with USA regarding nuclear
energy. Make list of 5 points on how this treaty has benefited India.

b. What difference did you observe in rural and urban areas in
context of sources of energy used.
5. List 5 natural phenomenon (with pictures) taking place in our
surroundings due to the atmospheric refraction, scattering and
dispersion.

CHEMISTRY

1. Prepare a power point presentation on the topic “Types of

Chemical Reactions.”
i)The presentation is to be made by a group of three students.
ii The presentation should be deposited in the CD alognwiht the
names and role No. of the students

2. Perform this activity in your kitchen. Take a container and mix

baking soda and vinegar. Observe the chemical reaction carefully.
i)Write proper observation and result
ii) Write the corresponding equation and identify type.
iii) Write the inference drawn from the above activity.

3.Buy pH paper from the nearby chemist / chemicals shop and test
the pH values of solutions given below in the tables. Record your
observations. What is the nature (acids/ bases) of each substance on
the basic of your observation? Also paste the corresponding pH strip
