To Whom It May Concern, I am writing this letter of recommendation for Amber Keech.

I am her student teaching supervisor for the Spring 2012 semester and I also had Amber as a student in one of my university courses. Amber was a conscientious student and student teacher. She conducts herself as a professional in her student teaching assignment as demonstrated through direct classroom observations and interviews with her cooperating teacher. Her assignments for class and in her student teaching were done in a timely manner and with great care, thoughtfulness, and precision. Amber has an overall grade point average of 3.59 and 3.79 grade point average in her major. She has made the Deans List for five semesters. Amber was also awarded the Sam Walton Community Scholarship in 2008-2009. Amber was selected to participate in the Anchored Placement Pilot Program at Millersville University. This new program places our Millersville University students during their Professional Block II and their student teaching field placement with the same teacher. Students applied to be part of this program and Amber was selected due to her overall grade point average, her writing skills, and her experience with children. Amber has been able to be in the same classroom from the beginning of the year to the end. She has gleaned a wealth of experience within the Anchored Placement Program; watching and documenting the different types of changes within each individual child over the course of a year. Amber conducted herself as a professional in her teaching assignment as demonstrated through direct classroom observations and interviews with her cooperating teacher. Amber has had several field placements as a part of the university teacher preparation program. She is currently in a second grade classroom for her student teaching assignment. She has also had experience in working with fifth graders and with third graders. Amber desires to become an effective educator. She maintains a high degree of professionalism. She seeks out answers to problems. She cares about children and their need for success in school. I believe Amber will continue to develop and will be an asset to any school district. I recommend Amber for a teaching position without hesitation or reservations. Amber has a bright future in the field of education. Sincerely,
