AbstractThis paper discusses the concept of space in ancient China.The ancient Chinese
definition of space and their cognition of whetherspace is finite of infinite and their knowledge of
the absoluteness ofspace direction are analysed.The theory of the relationship between time and
space in ancient China is evaluated.
