Dr. Richard DuBois is a board certified physician of infectious diseases who has retired after 42 years of active practice. His career has been highlighted by many honors, awards and proclamations of prestige by his colleagues. He is the past president of the Georgia Society of Infectious Diseases and the Georgia Society of Internal Medicine as well as the Medical Association of Atlanta. He has been recognized as one of the best doctors in America every year since 1994. The doctors of Atlanta chose him as their own Doctor of Choice for their care if they had an infectious disease, including HIV. He was awarded the award of excellence in teaching at Atlanta Medical Center where he received the Award of Excellence in teaching and was chosen as Most Valuable Physician. He served 8 years there as chief of Internal Medicine.
