As you are well aware, the UCI and the Asian Cycling Confederation recognise Philcycling (ICFP) of which Mr Tolentino was elected President on 16 January 2009. We would therefore be grateful if you would respect the decisions of our two organisations. It would be out of the question to hold another electoral general assembly on 9 May 2009. We cannot allow your NOC to interfere in the procedure for electing a National Cycling Federation and to flout the authority of its International Federation. Not alone that but to demand that you utilise a voting list of 2003 is to say the least absurd and would be an affront to all of those who have worked hard for cycling in the Philippines this past 6 years.
