Year 11 Mentoring Programme

Dear Year 10,

Leadership within the school is extremely important to us all and being part of the
Year 11 Mentoring Programme is a valuable learning experience.
You have shown great leadership, strength and above all the ability to make a
difference to those that need it. Year 7 students will only learn to make the right
choices if we can offer them a clear road to travel. As a year 11 mentor I am
asking you to make a difference by:
Supporting a student in either year 7
Talking to your student and meeting them before, after or during school for a
leadership talk
Driving your student to make the right choices
Leading by example and show them how to be respectful
Motivating them to lead by example
Reading with them
Helping them with homework
Pointing them in the direction of success

I know you can do this-now prove to me that being a Year 11 mentor is just as
important as being a prefect.
