ICT 101 BASIC COMPUTER APPLICATIONS

Course Description
This course focuses on the: (1) understanding of the basic computer concepts, practice, and acquisition of basic skills on various ICT (Information Communication Technology) applications in teaching ;

(2) actual hands-on with basic keyboarding skill activities the students the opportunity to familiarize with the machine and its parts and functions in order to prepare them to utilize the computer;

(3) theories and applications of word processing to deal with simple compositions like business letters and manuscript typing, and spreadsheet for creating formulas to perform calculations use in grading sheet. Proposed software: MS Word, MS Excel.
