Now, we can have another signal with same base band frequency m.

If we have a carrier frequency c2 separated from c1 by 2m then we can use it to modulate the second signal with side bands c2m. This signal will not interfere with the first signal if sufficient separation between c1 and c2 is used. In this way, we can pack many base band signals on the carrier frequencies separated by just a small interval of 2 m. The transmission medium normally has much larger bandwidths and hence this scheme of large number of signal transmission is possible
