ELA Common Core Instructional Vocabulary 6th-8th Grade

Below are lists of terms that align with the Common Core Standards sections of Literature,
Language Usage, Informational Texts, and Speaking and Listening. There is also a list of terms that pertain to Activities and Task students will be required to understand during future state assessments. Students should be introduced to and become procient in understanding these terms during their middle school language arts experience.
