Shame and Remnants:

An Interpretation of the Last Stand in Gwangju Uprising

This article focuses on the last stand in Gwangju Uprising of 1980. By

analyzing the affect of shame, it attempts to make clear the meaning of
the last stand and Yun Sang Wons expression the completion of the
uprising. By this means, a will of who remained to the last and its ethical
implications will be revealed.
