O Master, Lord, God the Pantocrator, the Father of our
Lord, God and Savior, Jesus Christ, Who through His cross descended to hades, and restored our father Adam and his children to paradise.
He buried us with Him, and through His death He
abolished the power of death, and on the third day He rose from the dead.
He appeared to Mary Magdalene and spoke with her in
this manner, saying, “Tell My brethren that they go to Galilee, and there shall they see Me.” The archangel descended from heaven, rolled the stone from the door of the tomb, and proclaimed the good news to the women carrying the spices, saying, “Christ is risen from the dead, by death trampling upon Death, and has bestowed life upon those in the tomb.”
He breathed in the face of His saintly disciples and
pure apostles, saying, “Receive the Holy Spirit. Whose sins you will remit, they are remitted to them, and those which you will retain, they shall be retained.”
Therefore, we ask You, our Master, purify us from all
hypocrisy, that, with a pure heart, we dare with boldness, without fear, to entreat You, O God the Father, Who are in the heavens, and say: Our Father…
