Rationale
The purpose of this activity is to draw a letter the ellipse as part of the topic. The activity is
structured to help students learn to work individually or in groups together as a team.

Problem
Imagine you have an aluminium plate on the milling machine
and you want to make a shape of a letter with a tool of
10mm.

Instructions
After the exercise each person from the team will be asked to answer a question on the
activity. If they get the answer wrong the entire team will fail the task.
1. If the students work as teams, each team must pick a leader who will be in charge of the
team. Each team must also pick one member who will record and fill in the worksheet.
2. You have to solve the questions using only the Paint program to draw the letter.
3. Draw the plate "80mm length and 50mm width"
4. The tool you will use is: flute end mill set "10mm"
5. Starting from the edge of the top left corner and move down 20mm.
6. Move to the right 20mm then move down 50mm.
7. Move up 35mm and move 20mm.
8. Move up 25mm then move down 50mm.
