Scope of the work :This laboratory manual consists of the following types of Exercises . a. Determination of quantities of items of work (e.g. - Excavation, P.C.C., UCR masonry.) b. Preparing detail estimate of a work, e.g. - single storeyed residential R.C.C. building community well, WBM Road, Septic Tank. c. Collection of learning materials and writing brief report on it. e.g.-- Tender Notice, Account forms, Old set of Tender documents.. d. Writing specifications of items of work . e. Preparation of Tender documents f. Preparation of Rate Analysis of items of work.

Study the learning overview carefully Listen to the lecture given by teacher about importance of subject, curriculum philosophy, graphical structure, skills to be developed, prior concepts, New concepts, Method of continuous assessment and tentative plan of work. Take overview of the exercises given in the laboratory manual.
