NIKYU TO IKKYU Techniques For Promotion To 1st Kyu (Brown belt) Note: A member is required to attend classes for a minimum of 64 hours or 4 months from Nikyu before he/she can take examination for promotion to 1st kyu. A. Any or all of the previous exercises and techniques B. Jo tori waza (any 5 of jo tori waza) C. Tanto tori waza (any 5 of tanto tori waza) D. Geri waza (any 5 of geri waza) E.
