Ed-vantage Program is divided into 4 levels of participation: basic, silver, gold and platinum with the relevant benefits and criteria for each. Please take a look at the following table to understand the benefits in detail:

1. Once a level is awarded, the validity of that level will be for one year from the start date of Campus Agreement or application confirmation, whichever is earlier. 2. Students of the participating academic institution must meet the criteria of Genuine Windows and relevant Microsoft certifications prior to receiving benefits. 3. Industry connections benefit is a Microsoft facilitated access to a web portal enabling eligible students to explore internships and / or employment opportunities that are made available. The web portal may feature available internship and/or employment opportunities of participating companies. Microsoft does not guarantee any specific internship and/or employment opportunity, either with Microsoft or any sponsoring company in the web portal. 4. Eligible academic institutions shall meet the "Microsoft Innovation Center" program guidelines to implement the MIC program in their campus.

Eligibility Criteria
All private higher education academic institutions which meet following conditions are eligible to enroll under this program, 1. Have obtained all Open Volume and Academic licensing SKU's from genuine Microsoft source 2. Have deployed Microsoft provided Office 365 (A2) SKU at the participant's campus Note: To be eligible for the program, the participant is not necessarily required to purchase any new products or SKU's identified in this program. The program tracks eligibility of the participants from the criteria only. Academic institutions may earn points on the basis of the following criteria. These points will allow them for a certain level of benefits based on the threshold table below.

1 Participant's eligibility for any level must have Genuine Windows OS. 2 Participant shall adhere to the program guidelines of Campus Agreement and IT Academy. 3 Participants applying for Gold and Platinum levels, must issue a letter (pre-approved by Microsoft) to its students propagating Value of Genuine.

How to Apply
You can write to Ed-vantage Program cell at edvantag@microsoft.com and seek an invitation from Microsoft to apply for this program. Microsoft will extend a maximum of 2 invitations to each academic institution during a fiscal year, each valid for a period of 60 days. You can fill in the application and send it back along with supporting documents to show your eligibility. Microsoft will provide the confirmation of eligibility and enrollment. You can also appoint your Microsoft's Academic Education Reseller partner to complete the process on your behalf. All applications along with supporting documents must be addressed to Ed-vantage Program Cell at the following address: Ed-vantage Program Cell, Microsoft Academic Program, Microsoft Corp (India) Private Limited, 4th floor, Indus Tower, Road No 36, Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad 500033. Microsoft Program Cell will intimate eligible participants on the expiry of their level and extend a fresh invitation.

Industry connections for internships and employment Microsoft will facilitate the institute with industry connections for their students for up to 10 internship and 10 for employment opportunities Framed wall mountable certificate from Microsoft Foundation workshop on Microsoft Technologies such as Windows 8, Windows Phone, Azure, development tools or productivity tools (Microsoft Office) As per program guidelines

Microsoft Academic Alliance Silver level certificate On campus hands-on "Technology/Productivity foundation" workshop

This certificate may be used by campus as part of their marketing collaterals One day workshop conducted by Microsoft appointed team, campus to provide administrative support.

BASIC
"How to leverage Microsoft" - on campus session On campus awareness session on Microsoft emerging technologies and opportunities, Microsoft academic programs and tools to leverage, guidance on adoption and career DreamSpark program provides friction free access to Microsoft developer and designer tools. Office 365 (A2) free subscription to student that provides student access to Office web apps, IM and presence, collaboration portal, conferencing, email, calendar, etc. Session conducted by Microsoft appointed team, campus to provide administrative support.
