DC Operating Point At Cadence

After finishing your problem, save and check it or simply press x. Then open the EDA or Analog Design Environment from tools menu. After that open Choose Analysis=> dc =>Save dc operating point, then OK. Before finishing, run the simulation by pressing Netlist and run.

Result=>Annotate=>DC operating points.

At Virtuoso Schematic Editing window open Edit=>Component display. New window will open Choose parameter, then from the schematic window click on the transistor and you can simply choose what parameter do you want to display. For example you can show the region (Sat, Triode, Off) (see 5)but note region 0 means off, 1 triode, 2 Sat.

You can also see all of the other model parameters , after finishing Step1, open Result=>Print=>DC operating points. The result display window will appear. Click on the transistor at schematic then have fun!!!

One last remark; at simulation results, to edit the graph Thickness which may be good for printing I think . double click on it and make it SOLID and BOLD then apply , select the background at simulation result and make it white
