Details of the Assignment: The assignment is to be done in two parts: Part I Analysis of Government Securities Market a) Dated Securities b) Treasury Bills Part II Analysis of Corporate Securities Market a) Corporate Debentures b) Commercial Paper c) Certificate of Deposit d) Call / Notice Money Market Guidelines for the Analysis: 1. 2. The assignment is meant for statistical updation / analysis of markets. There is no maximum limit on the number years of data used. (More, the better).

3. The data can be downloaded from any resource viz. websites, prowess, research paper, articles, journal, magazines etc. (Quoting the source of information is must).You are expected to use library resources extensively.

4. The analysis may comprise of trend analysis, correlation / regression analysis between products / markets etc. (Students are encouraged to refer to relevant research papers). 5. Interpretation of results is most important. ( Just drawing some charts or tables is not sufficient). 6. The group will have to appear for a personal interaction/viva on the assignment on the next day following the soft copy submission. 7. MINIMAL / NO THEORY IN THE ASSIGNMENT. 8. Since this is an open assignment, creativity would be highly appreciated. 9. Submission of original data is MUST. 10.
