Given the limited data that we had availabe to compile this, would propose constructing the lit station south of the intersection of Peal and 3° Streets along the existing 12" alignment. The lift station will onsstof an & x8” square precast wet well and an 84" precast manhole valve vault (required by IDNR}. The wet well will have a Muffin Monster sewage grinder ‘mounted tothe influent pipe installed on guide rls for removal and maintenance. Three (3) horsepower submersible pumps designed to pump 650 gpm each installed onside rals wll met the estimated peak flow conditions. For the estimate it was determined to use @ peaking factor of 25 as thsis the best avalable published information fora hotel/restaurant peaking factor. Thus, triplex lift station i required as the station ‘must adequately convey the peak flow rate with the largest pump out of service. The force mains from each of ‘the lit pumps wil be piped together ina separate manhole along with appropriate valving for maintenance, safety and IONR regulatory compliance. ‘Of note mechanically should it arse, JEO has recently installed a grinder much ik the application we are discussing for South Sioux City.
