It has been brought to the notice of Board's office that the existing provision regarding nomination facility for receipt of family pension by a nominee on behalf of mentally retarded children is not known to the staff concerned on Railways which is causing inconvenience to the pensioners/family pensioners. It is, therefore, desired that suitable instructions/procedure orders are issued for information and guidance of the dealing officials and wide publicity given amongst the serving employees, pensioners and family pensioners in this regard.
