Lesson plan Model

Level: 1 Year, high school.

Skill: Present continuous, positive, negative and interrogative form. Verbs related to technology and review of the present Simple (negative and interrogative form) and review of the vocabulary related to technology. Expected Outcomes: Students will be able to use the present continuous in the positive, negative and interrogative form. Students will be able to identify verbs related to technology. Resources: Data, marker, scotch, board, cardboard.

Time Introduction 10 min. Greeting and call the roll.

Core of the class Pre-stage 20 min.

Students will be given a review of the vocabulary related to technology through the use of a brainstorming using pictures and a review of the Present Simple using a PowerPoint presentation.

While-stage

Students will be introduced the present continuous in its positive, negative and interrogative form. Through use of a 35 min presentation. Students will be introduced new vocabulary related to technology (verbs such us; Chat, text,,upload, download, send, receive, log out ,attach, delete, etc.) 40 min. Students will receive an English guide with exercises about present continuous and verbs related with technology.

Post-stage

Closing

The teacher will go over the English guide with the 15 min students. The teacher will ask students to bring pictures showing people doing activities related to technology for the next class.
