PERMANENT CLOSURE: Westbound Pier T Ave. Off-Ramp

PERMANENT OFF-RAMP CLOSURE


The westbound Ocean Blvd. Pier T Ave. off-ramp will close permanently for demolition. Trucks and vehicles entering Pier T from westbound Ocean Blvd. will use an alternative route until the new bridge is open for use. This work is part of the Gerald Desmond Bridge Replacement Project, one of several initiatives at the Port of Long Beach to improve operations and increase capacity.

The westbound Ocean Blvd. Pier T Ave. off-ramp will close permanently on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 11 p.m.

NEW ROUTE 1. Continue on Ocean Blvd. toward SR-47 2. Exit for north SR-47 3. Turn left at SR-47 intersection to cross under the freeway 4. Turn left, toward eastbound Ocean Blvd. on-ramp 5. Remain in right lane and follow signs to Pier T Ave.
