Teaching In Tandem Date: October 3 & 24, 2012 Time: 1:30-4:00 Place: Orange County Annex Purpose: Teachers

will identify a passion profile and conflict style with their collaboration partner to build a stronger foundation of communication
for their work together. By the end of this meeting we will have: Participants will determine the passion that drives them as an educator. Participants will determine and communicate their preferred method of dealing with conflict. Participants will use this new knowledge to collaborate on next weeks lesson plans.

Passion Profile Activity Passion and Conflict Review Personal Conflict Inventory results Determine the costs and benefits of styles Determine pro/con situation of storm style Team Time Next Steps: Teachers will read chapters 2 & 3 of Co-Teaching That Works: Structures and Strategies for Maximizing Student Learning. Co-Teachers will fill out (independently) Worksheet 3.4: Co-teaching Observation Tool with a focus on EVIDENCE. Return document for session 3.
