PLAGIARISM Plagiarism refers to the direct copying of another persons words or ideas without giving credit to that person. Using someone elses work and pretending it is your own is plagiarism. Using material that has been taken directly from books, the Internet etc without acknowledging the source is plagiarism. Submitting work that has had a significant and unacknowledged contribution from a parent, tutor etc is plagiarism. Plagiarism is taken seriously at Illawarra Christian School and will usually result in complete loss of marks.
