Birkdale Library is due for closure in December 2013. The Business Plan submitted by BLAG on May 9th for a community-supported library will be likely be rejected at a Council meeting being held on July 18th.
If Birkdale Library is to survive, the only way forward appears to be to submit a new Business Plan to take over and run Birkdale Library as a volunteer community-led library.
