Logan County HS Class of 1988 25-year Reunion Labor Day Weekend August 30-31, 2013

Hello Classmates! Once again, I want to thank all of you who have helped organize and plan our upcoming reunion. Special thanks to Tamme Gregory, Chris & Melanie Hughes, Joe Hendricks, and Rodgie Millet for your planning help, and to all who have worked so hard to find lost classmates! Many of us had a great time at the 20-year Reunion and this should be another great chance to reconnect with each other. Based on the survey that most of you took, we have designed activities around your interests. Feel free to make your own decisions on what activities work best for you and your family. Im listing the reunion weekend events below, and the next page is the official reservation form that you will be sending with your applicable payment. Please get this to me by August 10, so that we will be able to give the convention center accurate numbers. Also, please dont forget the hotel reservation deadline of Monday, Aug 5. Ill look forward to seeing all of you next month!

Friday Night (8/30) - LCHS Football

Come by and check out the Class of 88 tent around 6:15 p.m. before the game. Bring your families and get re-acquainted with classmates! At the football game, the entire class as well as football alumni will be recognized and honored! We are working toward getting our alumni a discounted admission to the game...more info to follow. Game time is 7:00 p.m.

Saturday Mid-day (8/31) - Cookout at Russellville/Logan Co. Park

At Noon, we will gather at a pavilion at the City Park. We will be grilling some burgers/dogs & inviting 88 teachers and staff to attend. Bring your families and enjoy this informal event! Please submit $5 per person to cover the food costs. (Meal will include chips and drink.)

Saturday Evening (8/31) - Meal and Dance at Sloan Convention Center, BG

We will gather at 6:00 p.m. with dinner starting at 6:30. At 7:30, we will be have some presentations, and starting around 8:00 we will have dancing and general merrymaking. If youre not interested in dancing, there will be an area for just socializing and reacquainting. The cost of the evening is $43 per person. Reservation form on next page. Deadline for meal reservations is Aug. 10. IMPORTANT: If you plan to stay at the Holiday Inn University Plaza (connected to the convention center), we have a block of rooms reserved at a special rate of $109/night plus taxes (this reflects a group discount). Please contact the hotel directly at (270) 745-0088 and mention the Logan Co. H.S. Class of 1988 block. The cutoff date is Mon., Aug. 5, so act now!
