: Industry Defined Problem / Project Work for Final Year Diploma Student Dear Sir, Our Institute offers three year diploma courses in different disciplines of Engineering viz. Electronics & Communication, Computer, Information Technology, Civil, Mechanical and Automobile. LJP is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU) and the courses are approved by AICTE (All India Council of Technical Education). As per new curriculum of the GTU, students have to carry out their project work during 5 th and 6th semester of Diploma Course. The project work is divided in two phases. In the first phase, from July-2011 to Nov-2011, students will visit your esteemed organization to discuss the requirement with concerned person regarding project work and they will submit the brief problem definition in the institute as per specified GTU Performa. During this phase, they will understand the aims & objectives of the project or real time problem, carry out technical paper survey, study various possible configurations/options and carry out design & analysis of various options for the part of the defined project. The 2 nd phase of the project from Jan-2012, student will attend your organization for few days as per your convenience. In 2 nd phase, student will complete the design & analysis of selected project or problem, realize actual industrial working environment, and find the solution of real time problems and generation of technical report. If students are offered projects in your organization, they will be exposed to research environment by involving themselves in the current state of the art technologies while doing their project work.
