NOTE: DirectX may require the "latest" updates for your operating system. This may also include the latest drivers for your motherboard, sound, and video hardware. -----------Installation -----------Installation requires 1.5 GB of free hard drive space. We recommend that you have an additional 500 MB of free space available after installing the demo. ############################################################### ------------------General Information --------------------------------------------------------Installing the LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo --------------------------------------Double-click on LEGOIndyDemo to install the demo. You will be prompted to install the LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo into the default location on your hard drive and install DirectX 9.0c (August 2007) if your computer requires it. The default install path is: * 32-bit Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems: * C:\Program Files\LucasArts\LEGO Indiana Jones Demo * 64-bit Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems: * C:\Program Files(x86)\LucasArts\LEGO Indiana Jones Demo --------------------Administrative Rights --------------------You will be unable to install the LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo unless you are logged on with Administrative Rights.

After installation, you will be able to play the demo on a Limited (Restricted) or Standard User account. -----------------------------------Running the LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo -----------------------------------To run the demo in Windows XP: * Click on the Start Menu * Select All Programs * Select LucasArts * Click on Launch LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo To run the demo in Windows Vista: * Click on the Start Menu * Select Games * Double-click on LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo in the Game Explorer. -------------------Accessing the Readme -------------------To access the Readme after installing the Demo, do the following: To access the Readme in Windows XP: * Click on the Start Menu * Select All Programs * Select LucasArts * Click on View Readme To access the Readme in Windows Vista: * Click on the Start Menu * Select Games * Right-click on LEGO INDIANA JONES Demo in the Game Explorer * Select View Readme --------------------Desktop Color Palette --------------------We recommend that you set your desktop to True Color or Highest (32 bit) color. When playing LEGO INDIANA JONES with your desktop set to a color palette other than 32 bit, you may experience various problems while running the game. ############################################################### -----------Options Menu -----------------------Audio & Music ------------To adjust the Audio Volume option, you can use the left/right cursor keys. Music and all other "on/off" options are toggled with ENTER by default. ---------------------

Setting Video Options --------------------The game will automatically detect and set the video options to obtain optimal performance from your system. To manually adjust the Graphics Quality: * Select Video Settings on the Start Screen * Use the cursor keys to select a different screen resolution * Select Apply * Select Use current settings NOTE: You may also have additional options available in this menu if the video detection identifies that your video card is capable of supporting these features. Selecting a detail setting that is too high on a low performance system may adversely affect game performance and cause various graphical issues. If this occurs, you will need to restart the game and set the video options to low or off. ------------------------------------------Graphical Corruption when Adjusting Options ------------------------------------------You may see graphical corruption after adjusting certain options in the Video Settings menu in the in-game options screen. This will correct itself when you select Resume to return to the game. ############################################################### ------------------Game Control Issues ------------------We recommend that you use a dual analog game pad with at least six buttons to play LEGO INDIANA JONES. ---------------Navigating Menus ---------------To navigate through menus in the game, you must use your keyboard or gamepad. You can also scroll through menu options using a mouse wheel. -------------------------------Cannot Walk Slowly with Keyboard -------------------------------You will be unable to walk slowly or tip-toe when using a keyboard. -------------------Configuring Controls -------------------To configure your controls in the game: * Select Controller Configuration from Options menu * Use the cursors to select the control you wish to change * Press Enter, and then the button you wish to use. * Select Accept to apply changes and return to the main menu
