Minor Performance Task on the State of the Nation Address of President Noy-Noy Aquino/Special Issue Analysis on the SONA Pre-learning Activities A. Students are asked to get a copy of the SONA in Filipino or English translation, or; B. Students are assigned to watch a re-run of the SONA on television or over the internet on July 22, 2013. Paper Format: Note The paper is an individual performance task, to be done for three days from the day of the SONA. The date of submission will be announced by the respective Social Studies teacher. Good (3) Half of the key issues are presented with little description. The student demonstrated higher order thinking and logical analysis of statements, suggestions and recommendations, but needs to be precise and coherent in the presentation of arguments. Adequate (2) Only some key issues are presented with little description. The student gave some analyses and suggestions, but lacking in explanations, coherence and clarity. Needs Improvement (1) Only some key issues are presented without description. There is little evidence of analysis done by the student and the suggestions were not logically valid or plausible. Poor (0) No key issues were identified. There is no presentation or discussion given by the student.
