ln accordance wilh Presidentil Proclamation No. 25, s. 1998, the last week of November of each year is to be observed as the National Music Week.

This Schools Division is encou.aging everyone to celebrate the week in orde. to discover and hone the talents of our pupils/students and teachors. This is to be done by means of School-Based activities through contests/competitons in Music preferably on 19-23 November.

The Division's theme for this yeais celebtion is : 'DIWA ng KABATAAN: IPAGBUNYI sa

MUSIKANG BAYAN' Hereunder is the Suggested Program of Activities: 1d day - Parade Slogan Contesl 2d day - Elemenlary: Name the Tune Contest by crade (Songs to be based from the ABAKA) Secondary: lnstrumental Playing Competilions 3rd day - Elemenlary: Solo Voice Competilions Secondary: Vocal Duet Contests 4h day-Elementary & Secondry: Music Quiz 5'' day - Culminating Activitios 1. Parade showca8ing th6 slogans 2. Program to be parlicipated ln by winners of each Category 3. Awarding Ceremony

The activities for lhe first four days may be held at lunch b.eak or right after the aftemoon classes. However, the Culminating Activities may be held right after the flag raising ceremony.

The School is encouraged to keep copies of the nanative and pictorial reports of the
lmmediate 6nd wide dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.
