2. For each device, carefully read the explanation given and then write a summary of it in your English book. Ensure that you explain the term in your own words. If you are unsure about the meaning of the term feel free to look at other websites for further explanation and/ or clarification.

3. Once you have understood and summarised the term, have a go at an activity. Complete all the activities for the terms that are new to you, or that you find difficult. They should give you a better understanding of the poetic device and how it is used.
