PAR This organization is funded by the OEO and sponsored by the Jersey City Council of Churches in the sum of $191,548, principally from the Federal government. PAR is a program to rehabilitate ex-convicts; however, no reports have been made as of the end of May, 1968, as to the effectiveness of the Program. It operates a residence in Jersey City for men just iFeleased from prison. The program furnishes food, clothing and counseling but very few men have been placed in jobs.
