Banana Cake: 4 ripe bananas mashed 2 eggs 1/4 cup margarine 1/2 cup brown sugar 2 1/2 cups

whole wheat flour 1 cup white flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons baking powder 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1/2 cup chopped raisins 1/4 cup mixed peel 1/2 teaspoon ground spice Cream margarine and sugar until smooth and light. Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each addition. Add bananas, nuts, raisins, peel, vanilla, and spice. Blend flour, salt, and baking powder, and add to batter. Mix well, pour into cake pans and bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until tester comes out dry.
