Disposal of used battery The used VRLA battery should be recycled. When disposing of the VRLA battery, follow the regulations prevailing in your country and make necessary arrangements taking care of the following points.

Remove the conductive materials or accessories from the battery. The electric energy retained in the battery may cause a fire or electric shock. Do not spark or short the used VRLA battery. Since even the used battery still has electric energy, it can cause explosion of the battery.

Guideline for Replacement The life of this VRLA battery should vary depending on the using conditions such as ambient temperature. But , when the battery is used under an ambient temperature of at 250C (770F) , its service life may be expected shown up to the period in Table 7. It is recommendable to replace the battery with a new one before the end of its serviceable life, referring to the guideline of Table 7.
