(904) 620-5841 UNF Hosts Legal Studies Information Session The University of North Florida Division of Continuing Education will host its annual Legal Studies information session at 6 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 7 at the Adam W. Herbert University Center. The free information session is open to the public and guest speaker, Judge Brent D. Shore, who currently serves as Administrative Judge for the County Court, will share his years of wisdom from the field. Experienced instructors, program alumni and representatives from the Northeast Florida Paralegal Association will be on hand to answer questions.

Tim Giles, program director of UNF Legal Studies Institute, believes training in the legal field could be the first step to enhance career and professional development. Our courses are designed to assist those students who seek more career options while maintaining their day-today responsibilities, Tim expressed. Courses are offered in the evenings, with the option to pay on a class-by-class basis. Upon completion of coursework, students may take the Certified Legal Assistant (CLA) to become certified by the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA).
