WORK EXPERIENCE

TECH UNIVERSAL ARABIA LTD Jeddah, KSA Process Engineer April 2012 - Present Currently working on a 2,500 m3/day sewage treatment plant ($15 million) supervised by Saudi Aramco as part of a town development project and: o Displaying excellent problem solving and analytical skills working alongside various departments to ensure consistency with design requirements. o Demonstrating exceptional project coordination/management, communication and persuasion skills by effectively coordinating between contractors, consulting firms and equipment vendors to ensure project deliverables exceed clients expectations. o Responsible for preparing and verifying various engineering related documents such as P&ID's, PFD's, plant/equipment GA drawings, skid fabrication drawings and technical data sheets for all process equipment to be submitted to contractor and client. o Responsible for reviewing equipment quotations from sub-vendors to ensure compliance with client requirements/standards while collaborating with sales department. Currently also working as a Design/Proposals Engineer tasked with: o Summarizing tender documents, preparing a basic design and estimating the full cost of the plant to compile and submit a technical and commercial proposal to the client. Recently completed the full design of a $1.5 million Chemical Dosing/Waste-water Recovery packages for a desalination plant project on Halul Island, Qatar for Qatar Petroleum. UNITED OIL PROJECTS Kuwait Engineering Intern Summers 2008, 2009 Worked with maintenance and production department assisting in the implementation of engineering solutions to increase equipment availability, increase operating rate, reduce operation losses and achieve standard and acceptable production rates, while ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. Implemented a maintenance plan developed by Maintenance Engineer, which included preventive, predictive and corrective procedures to increase equipment reliability and consistency by 33% while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and creativity.

Final project was plant design for the H2CAR process and included a full operability study, troubleshooting, safety (HAZOP) and economic analyses. (Received A) Other relevant projects include: report on glycol dehydration and a gasoline blending optimization project with an objective to maximize profit to meet variations in demand.
