Gracie looked at her mum. She was filling a vase with some pretty flowers. ''What are you doing Mum?'' asked Gracie. ''I am taking Grandma some flowers,'' said Mum. ''Why are you taking Grandma flowers?'' asked Gracie. ''Grandma has been poorly so these flowers will cheer her up,'' said Mum. ''Can I come with you?'' asked Gracie. ''I would like to make a card for Grandma.'' ''Ofcourse you can,'' said Mum. ''You will have to hurry because we are leaving in 10 minutes.'' Gracie made Grandma a card. Mum and Gracie drove to Grandma's house and knocked on the door. Grandma opened the door. ''What a nice surprise,'' said Grandma. ''It is lovely to see you both. What have you got there?'' ''I have made you a card,'' said Gracie. ''I hope you like it.'' ''It is lovely,'' said Grandma. ''I will put it on the shelf.'' Grandma made some soup. Mum, Gracie and Grandma all sat down and had lunch. They had a lovely afternoon.
