n.: Guide to Viewing End Group DF Means and Coefficients

1. Introduction

This document demonstrates how to view (and amend if necessary) Discriminant Function
Means and Coefficients for End Groups.

Note that it is focused on how the tool operates rather than the science/rationale behind it.

2. Viewing End Group DF Means and Coefficients

a) Access and Log In to RICT (if not already done)

Full details of how to access and log in to RICT are provided in a separate document.
However, it basically involves typing in the relevant URL to your browser and then
entering your Username and Password.

This will display the Home screen:

b) Navigate to the Administration Home Page

Click on Administration which will result in the following page being displayed:

c) Select End Group Sets from the Menu Options

Click on ‘End Groups’ and then ‘End Group Sets’ which will result in the second
page below being displayed:
d) Select DFs for the relevant End Group Set

For the relevant End Group Set (e.g. New GB Model) click on DFs :
i) View/Amend Co-efficients for the relevant DF

For the relevant DF (e.g. DF1), click on Coefficients:

The coefficients can then be viewed (and amended if required) There is a

separate document that covers how to amend Admin type data.

ii) View/Amend DF Means for the relevant DF

For the relevant DF (e.g. DF1), click on DF Means:

The DF Means can then be viewed (and amended if required) There is a

separate document that covers how to amend Admin type data.
