CN qualifies Level III Accreditation

The Accrediting Agency of the Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACUP) visited University of Northern Philippines to conduct a survey appointment for the College of Nursing that was submitted for accreditation on July 17 to 20, 2012. The first phase of visit focused on the 10 areas of the college and was asserted qualified for Level III. The second phase was conducted on September 2012 that focused on four areas. The two areas are the Instruction and Extension, respectively which were mandatory by the said agency. The remaining two areas was the choice of the college, which depends on the students performance in Nursing Licensure Examination and Research. Indeed, as profit of being newly accredited, honor graduates were awarded with certificates of eligibility from the Civil Service.
