Leadership is a process through which efforts are made to achieve organizational goals by making maximum output through some social influences. Good Leadership Styles: A good leadership style is the way through people get motivation, direction and struggle to achieve their goals. There are many way through which leaders leads in different fields of life e.g politics, business etc. Democratic Transactional Authoritarian Transformational Laissez-faire Paternalistic DEMOCRATIC: As the names shows that this type of leadership style involves the number of people or a group of people where important things come under discussion and then at the end the final decision made. therefore in other word we can say that Democratic leadership style is the way of leading where a leader share his decision making skills with people or a within a group by creating interest of that group members through some social equalities. This type or style of leadership involves debates, discussions sharing ideas through encouraging people. Most of the time democratic leadership style also notion as "everyone in the group should play his role by virtue of their human status in decision making". However democratic leadership style like others also needs a good leader who can manage all these things, who can guide all other group members according to the standards of organization for the achievement of organizational goals. one thing should be keep in mind that in democratic leadership style it's a big responsibility upon leader that how he choose people who can participate in decision making process. Therefore a good leader should have some traits which can help him in doing all that. The summery of these traits are as under Courageous - should be courageous even under tough circumstances Straightforward- should have sound judgment to take good decision at right time Intelligent - Should be intelligent in seeking challenging assignments and to fulfill those Honest - should be honest and display sincerity Competent - should be competent who don't take decision on emotional desires Inspiring - should be inspiring so that others can try to make themselves better
