IH Malta, is located in a residential area which is a stones throw away from the buzzing city centre of Paceville, St.Julians. We also organise a residential Young Learners (10-16yrs) Programme at Paradise Bay, in the north of Malta, from mid-June to mid-August for individuals and groups. IH Gozo, operates all year round offering courses to adults (average age 30) in their accommodation, catering to the discerning traveler.

THE COURSES
Our adult school in St Julians, Malta welcomes adults of 18+ and offers group courses (maximum of 12) and individual tuition all year round. Malta offers a blend of language learning together with opportunities for cultural and social events. Our Young Learners residential programme Paradise Bay, Malta, JuniorsKOOL 10-13yrs and TeensKOOL 14-16yrs includes accommodation, general English lessons (20 per week) and a full week leisure activity programme (2 activities per day). The students have 24 hour supervision and are not allowed to leave the residence unaccompanied. IH Gozo, specialises in customised courses for specific purposes, offering individual tuition or closed mini groups.

IH Auckland - AUT is centrally located and is one of New Zealands leading English language teaching organisations. It is the English language school for international students at the Auckland University of Technology. Our students receive the AUT University student identity card giving access to University facilities and services.

THE COURSES
Our aim is to develop and enhance our students speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in English. We offer General English classes - part-time (15 hours) or full-time (24 hours) - at all levels, as well as academic pathway and international examinations courses. Minimum age 18. IH Cape Town is conveniently located on the main road of beautiful Sea Point, directly opposite the Sea Point swimming pools and the Atlantic Ocean. It is a short drive away from the Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the city centre as well as the famous beaches Clifton and Camps Bay. Our classes are small so each student can be treated as an individual. The atmosphere is relaxed, reflecting the laid-back nature of the city itself.

It is a short trip to the Grampian Highlands and some of the most spectacular scenery in Scotland. You can follow the worlds only Malt Whisky Trail, visiting distilleries and sampling their produce and a world-famous Castle Trail, with historic, romantic castles, including Balmoral, where the Queen and her family spend their holidays. Aberdeen is a great base for all outdoor sports, such as golf, cycling and tennis, as well as mountain-biking, kite-surfing on our fabulous beaches and hill walking. THE SCHOOL
IH Belfast is located in University Street, which is in the heart of the citys university district. The area is full of bars, restaurants and shops catering for a large student population and is just a 10-minute walk from Belfast city centre. The language school is housed in an impressive Victorian building.

THE COURSES
The minimum study period is one week. Maximum number of students per class is 12 and minimum age for the courses is 17. All levels of English are taught from beginner to proficiency. Students who are absolute beginners should contact the school about starting dates.

The School is the IELTS and Cambridge Exam Open Centre for the South West of England and it has exceeded expectations of independent inspection bodies.

The new purpose built school opened in 2010 and is located in the city centre. Facilities include 17 classrooms, spacious IT suite and student caf/common room. Wi-fi is available in all the common areas.

THE COURSES
The school offers a wide range of courses - 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 hours per week, specialising in general, executive, academic and business English. We also offer preparation classes for all the Cambridge examinations as well as IELTS and TOEIC. Professional internships are available for higher level students. The school also offers one to one courses and personal study programmes as well as CELTA and DELTA. We operate summer younger learners courses in both Edinburgh and Newcastle.

THE SCHOOL
International House Santander is a small school established in the city of Santander since 1978. IH Santander is a Full Member of The European Association for Quality Language Services EAQUALS. All students have access to internet in the computer room and the school has Wi-Fi access for students with their own computers.

THE COURSES
The school is offering General Intensive Courses and enrolment is open to begin classes at all levels, except Beginner (consult start dates) on any Monday.

ACCOMMODATION AND SERVICES

All of the families that work with IH Santander have been carefully selected. If you would like another kind of housing (hotel, hostel, residence, apartment, rural home), please ask for more information. An activity programme for students is arranged by the school but Santander also has an intense cultural life. Over the course of the year there are concerts, opera, and theatre in the Palace of Festivals. There are good exhibits and art galleries. THE CITY
Tarragona is a pleasant coastal resort (pop. 115,000) approximately 100km south of Barcelona. It is situated on the Costa Dorada and is an ideal location for a junior program of this kind. The town is lively, but not too big; it has its own sandy beaches within walking distance of the school; it is very close to Port Aventura - one of Europes largest theme parks and it is only an hour from Barcelona by bus or train.

THE SCHOOL
IH Tarragona was founded in 1980. The school occupies one floor of a typical Tarragona town house and is situated in the very centre of the city.

THE COURSES
Summer courses are especially designed for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17. Classes are given by a team of experienced, professional teachers who have been specifically trained to teach Spanish as a foreign language. Classes focus on developing the students communicative skills so that they are able to use their Spanish outside the classroom. The course is run as a joint venture between IH Barcelona and IH Tarragona.

ACCOMMODATION
IH Tarragona offers two types of accommodation: Spanish host families and a university student residence. In both cases, the accommodation is with full board.

SERVICES
The course includes a very full programme of excursions and other activities with all costs covered by the course fee.

IH Valencia is located in the city centre, the historic part of Valencia, just a step away from the most important parts of the city. The school has 17 spacious classrooms equipped with the latest technology and air-conditioning. THE COURSES
All classes are given in Spanish, using the communicative method of teaching. The average number of students per class is from 6 to 10 and each class lasts 55 minutes.
