Hatha Yoga Asana Regime

Why Asana? For a steady posture that can be maintained during long periods of meditation As a supporting practice for pranayama For better health

Regime: Start with stretches for 15 mins as you observe your breath Practice this for few weeks After the first few weeks of stretching, Practice Surya Namaskar or Sun Salutation after you feel comfortable with all the postures of Sun salutations(get help from yoga teacher) Practice Shavasana at the end of the Sun salutation Increase the cycles of Sun salutation over two weeks time. Start to practice Asanas like Vajra-Asana, Bhujangasana, Halasana and other postures later on from a yoga teacher
