Sudden Infant Death Network of Ohio Providing Support, Compassion, Education and Research Dear Friend, Each year thousands of families experience the utter devastation and heartbreak of losing their baby to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Without warning, SIDS can strike seemingly healthy infants with no regard to race, gender, or socioeconomic boundaries. This silent killer claims the lives of more babies than cystic fibrosis, childhood heart disease, childhood cancer, and child abuse combined! In January, 2008, we tragically lost our two month old son, Dylan Badger to SIDS. We have chosen to honor our baby’s life by joining forces with the Sudden Infant Death (SID) Network of Ohio to raise funds for SLDS risk reduction and safe sleep education, medical research, and counseling and ongoing support for bereaved families. On July 12, 2009, we will host the Dylan Badger Memorial Golf Outing at Jamaica Run Golf Club in Germantown, Ohio. All monies raised will go directly to the SID Network of Ohio. These funds will ensure the continuation of the SID Network’s mission. Individual and business donations are crucial to the success of our event.
