According to the latest available data from the three NAFTA countries, imports from China into NAFTA

countries increased 3.5% in volume from March 2013 to April 2013. April steel mill imports from China into NAFTA countries decreased 16.2% in volume from April 2012. At 2.4 million metric tons, April steel imports into NAFTA countries from the world (excluding intraNAFTA trade) were 16.7% above the volume in March 2013 and 17% below the volume in April 2012. Imports from China represented 4.5% of all NAFTA countries steel imports in April 2013, below the 4.6% and 4.7% shares in March 2013 and April 2012, respectively
